Political upheaval in Nepal

Youth-led protests, fuelled by anger over corruption, unemployment and authoritarianism, have toppled Nepal’s government. The upheaval mirrors similar social-media-driven movements across South Asia. Perhaps the critical variable in subsequent events will be the extent to which the Nepali youth movement can remain united and organise politically.
