Abstract
In this paper, we consider a generalization of nearly Kirkman triple systems (NKTS). We can view a NKTS as being a resolvable group divisible design (GDD) of block-size three and group-size two. This suggests the stucly of resolvable GDDs of block-size three, having other group-sizes. We are able to construct many new examples of these designs. In.doing so, we make essential use of a type of design 'called a "frame", which can be thought of as a Kirkman triple system with "holes".
