Comparison of genetic variation among pomegranate cultivars was evaluated using random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) and inter simple sequence repeat (ISSR) markers and suggested that the ISSR markers produced much better reproducible bands and were more efficient in grouping cultivars.
