Prediction of transfers to tertiary care and hospital mortality: A gradient boosting decision tree approach

Based on the patient medical information provided in the training and testing dataset, a series of variables were created to characterize a patient's current medical condition as well as their historical medical condition to predict the hospital transfer and hospital mortality.
