Abstract

This review describes a pilot study where the Delphi methodology was used in conjunction with fuzzy sets. Ambiguity has been a serious shortcoming of the Delphi method since its inception. The authors make this shortcoming a salient feature of their application, in order to learn how subjects handle ambiguity deliberately.
