Do we need dissection in an integrated problem-based learning medical course? Perceptions of first- and second-year students

Both first- and second-year medical students, regardless of their gender, academic background, or citizenship felt that the time devoted to dissection classes were not adequate and good anatomy textbooks were perceived as an excellent resource for learning anatomy.
