Liquid crystal colloids

I am sure that most researchers of the liquid crystal community and probably many of the general soft matter community, have heard of the Ljubljana group of Igor Musevic and their beautiful experiments which are complemented by just as nice computer simulations of the group of Slobodan Zumer. The collaborations between theory and experiment on colloidal particles in liquid crystal hosts have been ongoing for many years and were published in a series of very relevant papers. Igor has now taken on the task to summarise all of the results, together with those of other groups, in a monograph.
