A 48-year-old African American male with a medical history of hypertensive cardiomyopathy and hypertension presented to the emergency department with a 4-day history of diarrhea with watery stools, right upper quadrant abdominal pain, low-grade fever and chills, and underwent a transesophageal echocardiogram to rule out endocarditis being the primary source of the multiple abscesses.
