Phytochemistry , Pharmacological Properties and Industrial Applications of Rhus Coriaria L. ( Sumac )

This review updates the current phytochemical, biological and therapeutic knowledge that so far exists on R. coriaria and highlights the importance of Sumac extracts as a promising and potential source of functional ingredients and nutraceuticals with desirable bioactivities, prompting the further use ofSumac in food preservation, pharmacology and functional food industries.
