A recent approach to preventing DOX-induced cardiomyopathy is adjuvant therapy with a combination of hematopoietic cytokines, including erythropoietin, granulocyte colony-stimulating factor, and thrombopoetin, which is suggested to be worthy of serious consideration for clinical use.
