Condylar resorption after orthognathic surgery. Evaluation of treatment in 8 patients.

Eight patients out of a group of 329 who underwent sagittal split osteotomy in a 10-year period, were treated actively following the development of condylar resorption and had a functional occlusion and tolerable temporo-mandibular-joint complaints.
