The integrated motivational-volitional model of suicidal behavior.

The IMV model builds on the empirical and conceptual evidence from other models and perspectives and is able to make differential predictions in respect of suicidal ideation/intent and behavior, which identifies three stages along the motivational‐volitional pathway for potential intervention.
