Aldosterone in obesity.

The clinical data suggest that aldosterone participates in hypertension associated with the "Insulin Resistance Syndrome", and the adrenal in viscerally obese subjects may be driven by a secretagogue released from the liver by fatty acids from abdominal adipocytes.
