Drug-polymer conjugates: potential for improved chemotherapy.

The basic principles for design of soluble polymeric drug delivery systems are explained and illustrated using examples drawn from studies on the development of N-(2-hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide copolymer conjugates for use in cancer chemotherapy.
