여성 성폭력 범죄예방에 관한 연구 – CPTED를 중심으로 -

Since Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) was introduced and conducted in Korea, 10 years have passed and Government and local governments have shown active movements. This may be seen as a new paradigm in crime prevention, and this study was also conducted under the judgment that it will be effective if CPTED is utilized for the crime prevention of sexual violence on women. Therefore, this study proposed measures on female sexual violence crime prevention focusing on CPTED as follows: First, it is necessary to install CCTV and moving sensor light at the blind zone. Second, it is necessary to reinforce double lock and access control facilities at women-only housing facility. Third, it is necessary to install emergency bell and ensure safety zones at female public toilets. Fourth, it is necessary to expand female safety homecoming services. In this way, we hope the measures for female sexual violence crime prevention focusing on CPTED will contribute to realizing the safe society.
