Abstract

In this update, 2 integrase strand transfer inhibitors (InSTIs), elvitegra-vir and dolutegravir, have become available and were added to the fig-ure. Elvitegravir was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in August 2012 for HIV-1 treat-ment-naive patients as part of a fixed-dose combination of elvitegravir/ cobicistat/tenofovir/emtricitabine.
