기혼 직장 남녀의 일-가정 갈등이 가족관계에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of married couples’ work-family conflict on family relationships. For the purpose of this study, the analysis was conducted on 273 married men and women with jobs in Donghae and Samcheok, Gangwon-do. The level of work-family conflict among the subjects in this study was 2.25 points on work-family conflict (WFC), 2.44 on work interference with family (wif), and 2.05 family interference with work (fiw). The average level of family relations was 4.03, that of love and for family relations was 3.85, that of recognition and responsibility for family relation was 4.31, and that of acceptance and respect was 3.91. As a result of examining, WFC and fiw have negative effect on family relationship. That shows that the burden of role and responsibility for family induces stress and unrest, again that negatively effect on family relationship. The results of this study will be the basic data on factors affecting family relationship, and work-family friendly policies should be enforced to prevent family problems and to improve the balance between family and work.
