경력단절여성의 재취업 경험에 관한 질적 메타분석

The purpose of this study was to explore the experience of the re􋹲employment of reentry South Korean women. For this study, all South Korean journals and dissertations published through April 2020 were collected using the key words “career interrupted women,” “female returners,” “married women,” “re􋹲employment,” “reentry into the labor market,” and “participation in economic activities” from the National Assembly Library and Research Information Sharing Service(RISS) search sites. After the inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, 12 qualitative studies were selected for analysis. The qualitative meta􋹲analysis was analyzed according to the seven steps of the meta􋹲ethnography methods proposed by Noblit and Hare (1988), resulting in one comprehensive subject, four dimensional subjects, and nine technical subjects (based on Schlossberg(1984)’s 4S theory). As for the results of the qualitative meta􋹲analysis, 9 technical topics, 4 categorical topics, and 1 comprehensive topic were derived. Under the comprehensive theme of “reentry women who are in critical situations in their personal, family, and social life, face the best strategy,” each theme included four categories: the self, “exploring their position in the home and society”; the situation, “overcoming internal and external glass ceilings”; the support, “getting the least amount of support”; and the strategy, “using powerful strategies.” Based on these results, implications for policies and systems as well as the significance of this study were discussed.
