기독 북한이탈여성의 외상 후 성장에 대한 질적 연구: 밴 매넌(Van Manen)의 해석학적 현상학 연구 방법

This study is about the post-traumatic growth of Christian North Korean female refugees. The researcher approached it with the hermeneutic phenomenology study suggested by Van Manen. The study analyzed not only the trauma of North Korean female refugees, but also recovery and growth within the church community. Five North Korean female refugees participated in the study. The data were constructed by conducting one-onꠓone in-depth interviews. As a result of the study, 142 meanings were derived, which were composed of 45 themes, and the revealed themes were gathered into 14 essential themes. The 14 essential themes were rearranged into bodiness, temporality, relationship, and spatiality. The bodiness appeared as 'hell experienced while alive', 'fallen into sex slavery', and 'deprivation of motherhood'. Temporality was expressed as ‘the collapse of the world’s faith’, ‘the shift from the broad road to the narrow road’, ‘a new life’, ‘accompaniment on the way to heaven’, and ‘the spread of God’s love’. Relationship was expressed as ‘lack of life’, ‘exposure to gaze violence’, and ‘restoration of the image of God’. Lastly, spatiality appeared as 'left behind in China', 'Canaan's dream and reality', and 'rest under the broom tree'. Based on the results of this study, within the church community, suggestions were made on establishing a recovery system for North Korean refugees, nurturing gender-friendly female ministers, and making North Korean female refugees a subject in missionary work in China.
