This study examines how housework stress affects the life satisfaction of married working women, and analyzes how work and family relates to women's life satisfaction in general. In particular, it analyzes the correlations between sexual role attitudes perceived by married working women, work-to-family spillover, family-to-work spillover, marital intimacy and life satisfaction in terms of work, family, individual. The results show indeed that women's work-family conflict has an effect on life satisfaction along with a mediating effect of marital intimacy. While work-to-family and family-to-work spillover had a positive effect on personal life satisfaction, both had negatively affected job satisfaction. In terms of attitudes towards work, family, and gender roles, there was a positive spillover between work and family.
