세계화 시대의 세계시민주의와 세계시민성: 어떤 세계시민주의? 어떤 세계시민성?

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the theme of cosmopolitanism and global citizenship, which we should pursue in the age of globalization. This paper tries to answer the three questions.: (1) Which cosmopolitanism should we pursue?, (2) Which global citizenship should we pursue?, and (3) What are the common challenges that we should deal with in the age of globalization? The conclusions of this paper are as follows: (1) We should pursue liberal cosmopolitanism, which can be harmonized with state autonomy and the local particularity. (2) We should pursue global citizenship, which can be harmonized with state citizenship. There should be a connection between state citizenship and the universal values of humanity, as we can find in constitutional patriotism and purified patriotism. (3) We should pursue global citizenship as qualified global citizens who intend to participate in solving the common challenges of humanity, e.g. global justice, foreign aid, ecological crisis, human right and world peace etc. Finally, We should pursue cosmopolitanism and global citizenship, which can be normatively justified and practically possible.
