국어과 교육 대상으로서의 매체의 특성 연구

The purpose of this article is to reveal the concept, types and properties of media as an object of Korean language education. According to these three factors, the media was divided into the first-media, second-media and thirdmedia. The first-media refers to a language, melody, rhythm, drawing, and so on. The second-media includes broadcast, print, animation, Internet bulletin boards,e-mails, online chat, cell phone text, and Internet comments. Lastly, the thirdmedia contains television, radio, books, computers, telephones, and so on. This article revealed that the second-media among the three types of media is the only object of media education in Korean language education and discussed the properties of each media in terms of three aspects of media, information, and sender/receiver. This paper has significance in that it draws the contents of media education to increase communicative competence and lays the foundation for establishing the identity of media education in Korean language education.
