Biological activity of quercetin-3-O-glucoside, a known plant flavonoid

Results showed that quercetin 3-O-glucoside exhibits high antioxidant effect, it has low cytotoxicity and no antibacterial effects, and it is assumed that Q3G does not play a defense role in plants and it may act as an allelopatic agent.
