Complications of Hip Arthroscopy

Hip arthroscopy has not been done routinely by most orthopedic surgeons but after developing a safe “lateral approach,” the complication rate declined from 15% on the first 60 cases to 6.2% in the next 500 cases, and currently is 0.5%.
