Newly-acquired pre-cultural behavior of the natural troop of Japanese monkeys on Koshima islet

The sweet-potato washing pre-culture and the new pre-cultural phenomena, especially, their process of acquisition and propagation, their causes, and finally, the meaning of these pre-cultures are discussed.
