Estimating cancer risks from pediatric CT: going from the qualitative to the quantitative

The issue that children are clearly more sensitive to radiation than adults is discussed, and there is still a need for more surveys on pediatric CT usage in the USA, where there is an order of magnitude increase in risk in children versus adults and a significant sex differential.
