tlooto Summary
The sample size required for the Weibull distribution is determined, while using the central limit theorem, to study the practical choices of the least required sample size for this distribution.
Abstract
The general rule in using central limit theorem is based on the sample size being greater or equal to 30. Since there are various shapes of probability distributions, this generalized criterion may not be suitable. We determine the sample size required for the Weibull distribution, while using the central limit theorem in this paper. Some computer simulations are carried out to study the practical choices of the least required sample size for this distribution.
