Abstract
This study examined the relation between the Perceived Motivational Climate, the Goal Orientation, the Intrinsic Motivation and the viewpoints and behaviours of fair play in young sport players in «1a division» in the Spanish football league (N = 82). Apart from completing a series of questionnaires to evaluate the previous variables, forty matches have been watched out, to take note of fair play conducts. The perceptions of the mastery climate were positively associated to task orientation, enjoyment, effort, perceived competence, enjoyment opinions and positive fair play behaviours, and negatively to anxiety. The performance climate was positively related to the ego goal orientations, anxiety, hard play opinions and the search of success, and with faults and the anti-fair play conducts. The performance climate arose as the variable that predicts both the opinions and the anti-fair play conducts.
