tlooto Summary

Identification of parameters for viscoelastic damper's rheological model using particle swarm optimization method with artificial data and noise.

Abstract

An identification method for determination of param eters of the rheological model of damper made of viscoelastic material is presented in this paper. T he rheological model of damper has four parameters and the model equation of motion contains derivatives of th e fractional order. The identification procedure ha s two main parts. Results of dynamical experiments are ap proximated using the trigonometric function in the first part of the procedure while the model parameters ar e determined in the second part of the procedure as the solution to an optimization problem. The particle s warm optimization method is used to solve the optim ization problem. Efficiency and accuracy of the proposed me thod are proof on an example where the parameters o f the rheological model are determined on the basis of ar tificially generated experimental data with measure d noises.
