tlooto Summary
The West Qinling Orogenic Belt underwent significant tectonic evolution from 800 Ma, involving break-up of supercontinent, ocean and continent evolution, collisional orogeny, and incontinental overprinted orogeny.
Abstract
In this paper tectonic evolution, framework and nature of the West Qinling Orogenic Belt after Phanerozoic Phhave been discussed Since about 800 MaPB,the West Qinling Orogenic Belt underwent breakup of supercontinent, evolution of ocean and continent, collisional orogeny, withinplate stretching and incontinental overprinted orogeny, and presentday West Qinling Orogenic Belt has been eventually completed During diffirent tectonic evolutional stages, the West Qinling Orogenic Belt has various tectonic style and framework In the evolution stage of ocean and continent, its tectonic style belongs to plate tectonics, and it is charecterized by framework of ocean and continent In withinplate stretching stage, its tectonic style belongs to a withinplate rift and faultsubsiding basin, and it is charecterized by a framework of sea and continent In incontinental overpritined orogenic stage, its tectonic style belongs to incontinental basinmauntain style,it is charecterized by an incontinental basinmountain framework Therefore the West Qinling Orogenic Belt is a "collisionincontinental type"complex orogenic belt
