Transformation of Danwei System: an Angle of View on City Changes in China

Based on the analysis of Bray′s works,the authors coordinated the papers and work on the origination of Danwei system,and explained the function,social and spatial effects of Danwei system in the process of city transformation in China.The authors believe that Danwei system is an angle of view which could help us understand social and spatial changes of cities in China not only before the system established,but also post Danwei system.
