Abstract
Active ingredients in root of plant Rhodiola were extracted by water.The optimal processing conditions for the extraction were identified through orthogonal experimental design L9(34):root of plant Rhodiola was comminuted and sieved through 60 mesh screen;extraction temperature is 100 ℃;mass ratio of raw material to water is 1∶10;time for extraction is 10 min.The content of active materials Rhodioloside and total flovones were measured by HPLC and aluminum tri-chloride calorimetry.Anti-oxidizing capacity of the extract was measured in-vitro by using VC as positive reference material and the whitening capacity was measured in-vitro by tyrosinase inhibition test.Results showed that the extract can be used as additive for anti-aging or whitening cosmetics.
