Derivatives Development Path of Suzhou Silk Museum

This paper takes Suzhou Silk Museum as an example and aims at present widespread museum product development problems to analyze and summarize derivatives development status of Suzhou Silk Museum through field investigation. Besides,this paper analyzes the causes of difficulties existing in museum product development and puts forward relevant situation under the precondition of relaying on regional culture resources of Suzhou,i. e. to create brand effect of derivatives by depending on traits of silk culture; to accelerate market circulation speed of derivatives by depending on industry-academy-research cooperation; to improve market competition of derivatives by depending on fusion of culture,science and technology; to expand sales scale of cultural derivatives by depending on derivatives by depending on. Suzhou Silk Museum should improve brand connotation of the museum and achieve win-win of social benefit and economic benefit on the basis of completing social mission of the museum with the help of advantaged Suzhou silk cultural traits.
