Abstract
In this paper,the rapid disaster assessment techniques for traffic capacity of bridges after earthquakes are studied by the support of Chinese earthquake emergency database in order to meet the actual needs of Chinese earthquake emergency commands.Vulnerability curves of beam bridges and arch bridges corresponding to Chinese situation are established respectively,which is based on the damage data of the earthquakes in Tangshan and Haicheng.At the same time,the evaluating methods of the damage extent of single bridge and the corresponding traffic capacity are developed,which can evaluate traffic capacity index of common bridges after earthquakes.
