Abstract

The analysis of gradual opening of interceptor valve and reduced steam consumption and reduced efficiency of compressor train of HT102 steam turbine for the recycle hydrogen compressor in a 1. 8 MM TPY residue hydrodesulfurization unit in SINOPEC Jinling Company has found that the cause is off-specification of Na+and Si O2-3in saturated medium-pressure steam,which leads to off-specification of steam and fouling in the flow path of steam turbine. After on-line cleaning of rotor with saturated wet steam,the pressure in turbine rotor chamber is 2. 1 MPa,the opening of control valve is 70%,the inlet steam flowrate is 36 t / h and speed of turbine is 9 150 r / min. The normal operation indicates that the on-line cleaning is very effective. The turbine and steam drum are opened for examination and cyclone separator in steam drum is welded,which has ensured the normal operation of steam drum. The operations prove that both on-line cleaning with saturated steam and openup cleaning of steam turbine have the same effect of salt deposit removal. The on-line cleaning of rotor of steam turbine is very successful. Whereas,the steam pressure and temperature have to be strictly controlled.
