Abstract

With the welding line planning of vehicle model B of a company as example,the paper elaborates the application of digital factory technology in BIW welding line advanced planning.The paper introduces BIW welding solution based on digital factory as well as content,flow and implementation of advanced planning.Since welding spot reachability analysis,robot simulation analysis and interference check,etc.,are conducted in the advanced planning,therefore the design time of jig and gripper are shortened,accuracy rate is improved,modification work in the later stage is considerably reduced.
