Test Study of Bridge Structure Models

Test study of models of some typical bridges having been conducted in Bridge Science Research Institute,Major Bridge Engineering Bureau,the Ministry of Railways is reviwed.Points of attention to model design,fabrication,installation and materials for the study are mentioned.The paper also points out that model test study and computer simulation analysis are not mutually replaceable while mutual supplement between the both will effectively propel the bridge science and technology forward.
