Research on Typical Network Structures for Medium Voltage Distribution Network

The range of application,advantages and disadvantages of typical network structures for medium voltage(MV) distribution network are analyzed from such aspects as voltage level,connection mode and power supply mode of MV distribution network in such countries as Japan,Singapore,UK and the USA as well as China.Based on the comparison of construction and development of MV distribution network in foreign countries and China,suggestions on the selection of the voltage level and connection mode of MV distribution network are given.The network structure of MV distribution network with micro-grid is also vision.The research in this paper will provide reference for the reform of traditional MV distribution network and the construction of smart distribution system.
