Analysis on the Current Status of Metro Operating Tunnel Damage in Soft Ground and Its Causes

The safety of the operating tunnel is directly influenced by the stability of tunnel structure.To give an accurate evaluation on the structural stability of the operating tunnel and provide practical foundations for further disease healing,related management departments have been undergoing daily supervision and long-term monitor on the tunnel structure.Based on the large amount of information and data about Shanghai subways accumulated in the past decades,the primary forms of tunnel disease are introduced,the causes for the damage are analyzed and the related suggestions for prevention are given.All of the work is expected to give some useful references for the projects in similar conditions.
