It is shown that using the developed method of microbial synthesis it is possible to obtain deuterated L-phenylalanine with different levels of isotopic enrichment, depending on concentration of 2H2O in growth media, from 17% (the growth medium with 24.5% (v/v) 2H 2O) right up to 75% of deuterium.
