A comparative study of the lipid composition of Halobacterium saccharovorum from various sources

In order to clarify the position of H. saccharovorum within the family Halobacteriaceae a chemotaxonomic study of this species was undertaken using strains obtained from five different sources, and shows that one of the strains is anomalous and should not be included in the species.
