Collecting and preserving chalcid wasps (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea)

The most profitable ways of collecting chalcids are discussed, namely by sweeping, suction sampler, beating, pyrethrum spray, rearing, Malaise traps, yellow pan traps, suctions traps, pitfall traps and extraction from leaf litter or grass tussocks.
