ELECTRON MICROSCOPE STUDY ON THE SPERMATOZOON OF THE LIPHISTIID SPIDER, HEPTATHELA KIMURAI

Intratesticular spermatozoa of Heptathela kirnurai have been examined with light and electron microscope and have the 9+3 pattern, i.e. nine peripheral pairs plus three central tubules, in contrast to the conventional 9+2 pattern in cilia and flagella.
