Status of surfactant EOR technology

Abstract Surfactant enhanced oil recovery (EOR) includes surfactant flooding and surfactant stimulation. The main functions of surfactants are to reduce interfacial tension and wettability alteration. This paper is to review the EOR technology related to surfactant injection.
