Will DOTS do it? A reappraisal of tuberculosis control in countries with high rates of HIV infection.

The author suggest that the additional approaches presented in this article should be examined in pilot projects to see whether it can reduce TB incidence in countries with high rates of HIV infection and intensive strategies should focus on the HIV infected to interrupt the ongoing transmission and reactivation of TB.
