Efficacy analysis of Xuebijing injection in the treatment of sepsis

Objective:To evaluate the effect of Xuebijing injection on the treatment of sepsis.Method:45 septic patients were randomly divided into control group(n=22) and treatment group(n=23).The same as the control group receiving conventional treatment,the Xuebijing injection was used in the treatment group,a 100 ml per day for a week.The APCACHEⅡ score,white blood cell count,neutrophil ratio,C-reactive protein levels and 28 day mortality were recorded after treatment.Result:Compared with the control group,the APCACHEⅡ score,white blood cell count,C reactive protein levels and mortality at 28 days were significantly decreased in the treatment group(P0.01).Conclusion:Xuebijing injection can block the pathological reactions of the systemic inflammatory response syndrome,and improve the prognosis of patients with sepsis.
