Abstract
Objective:To explore the expression of regulatory T cells(Treg)and T helper 17cells(Th17)in the spleen of idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP)patients.Method:We selected 46 ITP patients who had underwent splenectomy as the observation group,and selected 20 patients who had been through splenic trauma and spleen resection as the control group.According to the standard for diagnosis and treatment of hematologic diseases,the patients in observation group were further divided into effective group(n=31)and ineffective group(n=15).We used immunohistochemical method to detect the expression of Treg and Th17.Result:The expression of Treg in the spleen tissues of observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,while the level of Th17 was significantly higher than that of the control group(both P0.05).There was no significant difference in Treg and Th17 levels between the effective group and ineffective group(both P0.05).Conclusion:The expression of Treg is significantly decreased and Th17 is significantly increased in the spleen tissues of ITP patients,leading to an imbalance,which may be an important factor affecting the development and progression of such diseases.The prognosis of ITP patients has no significant correlation with Treg and Th17 levels.
