Open reduction and internal fixation of the posterior malleolus with a posterior antiglide plate using a postero-lateral approach—a preliminary report

Direct open reduction and internal fixation of the posterior articular fragment of the tibia with a dorsal antiglide plate significantly improved the anatomical reduction and reduced the need for post-operative plaster protection with no increase in the complication rate compared with currently recommended techniques.
