Abstract
porting in the customary S, I, R terms. Susceptibility of anaerobes, shown in kaleidoscopic colored graphs, could have been more clearly and economically pre sented by more conventional graphic displays. The contention that reporting of susceptibility of individual anaerobic isolates is clinically indicated is not sup ported by the data presented and is in consistent with generally accepted prac tice. The review of Campylobacter fetus is a handy summary but contains nothing new. The sections on periodontal disease and experimental animal infection are largely academic and of limited value to clinical microbiologists.?Raymond C. Bartlett, Microbiology, Hartford Hos pital, CT
