Abstract
Objective To discuss the choices of surgical method for thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm(TAAA). Methods The data of 9 cases of type IV TAAA treated by open surgical repair and 1case of type V TAAA treated by hybrid technique were analyzed retrospectively. Results All procedures were successful. During the perioperative period, no death, renal failure and paraplegia occurred. Patients were followed up for 3 ~12 months without anastomotic fistula and visceral ischemia. Conclusion Conventional open operation, hybrid technique, fenestrated and branched endografts treatment were choices for patients with TAAA, but treatment must be chosen according to the specific circumstances of each patient.
